Overview:  In 2015 we began negotiating to lease/purchase 20 acres along the Sac River,  just west of Springfield, Missouri.  Working with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the National Resources Conservation Service, we fenced out the cattle from the river and removed tons of debris from the river.  We drilled a well to provide the cattle with water and planted 5,000 native trees to restore the riparian corridor to protect the River.  Our Spring-fed Sac flows north to Stockton Lake as a major source of water for people in our region.  This project is good for thousands of citizens along with the trees, birds, fish and many smaller critters that call this wonderful resource their home.
